I have loved the subject of bicycles for over 30 years. Since COVID19 at the latest, however, it has become clear that it is other values that really count.
In a wooden shack with three walls, I created a sustainable bicycle concept from a mountain of scrap metal, which is German Design Award Winner 2024.

Real Circularity
On June 21, 2024, I spoke at the Real Circularity Summit. The event, initiated by circular fashion pioneer Rachel Sheila Kan (UK) and cradle-to-cradle co-founder Kenneth Alston (United States), focused on inter-industry exchange as a key element of inspiring collaboration. Michael Werner from Google, among others, also spoke.
The Real Circularity Summit was nominated for the Earthshot Prize, with the pre-event for this award hosted by Prince William.
SAZ Bike July 2023
At what was probably the greenest Eurobike ever in 2023, I presented my circular bicycle concept SAYA on the big stage as part of the Sustainability Track. I spoke at the end of a long Friday where many renowned figures from the bicycle industry presented their findings and discussed a more sustainable industry. The industry magazine SAZ Bike published an article about this day and chose my presentation as a reference and framework for all the presentations.
